The Wine
“Medium to deep red/purple colour with a bright, fresh, clean cabernet aroma of sweet cassis and background cedar. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with restrained but glorious flavour, and is slightly closed. It has a tight, firm palate, but reveals more and more blackberry, blackcurrant cabernet character as it airs in the glass. It’s elegant and texturally refined. A beautiful cabernet with a big future. It demands patience.” Huon Hooke, who gave it 97pts.
