Gold-medal-winning Le Bourg Bordeaux is from Jean-Marc Sauboua, who blends different vintages to create an approachable Bordeaux red that will greet you like a friend.

The 2023 L’Epiphanie de Saint-Estephe (RRP $90), with a Grang Gold and 96pts, is a gloriously old-school claret from one of the most famous châteaux in the Saint-Estèphe region, one of its revered Second Growth vineyards whose top wines sell out at $350 a bottle.
