The Peyronie family, the current owners, can trace their ancestry in the region back to the 1700s. However, in the early 20th century they finally bought the keys to Château Fonbadet. Today, great-granddaughter, Pascale Peyronie, continues the family legacy producing many award-winning wines.
B de Fonbadet is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Rich in black fruits with a floral lift, mellow tannins, and layers of chocolate and tobacco from six months in oak, well deserving of its Decanter Platinum award. An accessible style even in its youth, enjoy with lamb or mushroom ragĂą.
