Whistler Estate Barossa Valley Shiraz 2018

Whistler founder, Martin Pfeiffer, was the Head Vineyard Manager at Penfolds and planted his first vineyard at Whistler with cuttings from the famous ‘Grange’ vineyards. Today, the winery is headed up by Martin’s son Sam, who has overseen a transition to organic and biodynamic practices to deliver wines of exceptional quality. This is the follow-up vintage to the 95pt 2017 – "... a delicious wine of aromatic complexity and textural intrigue... righteous and just, all in service of pleasure...95pts" (Ned Goodwin MW, Halliday Wine Companion).
