Forest Hill's 94pt Highbury Fields Shiraz 2020 ”Shows how good this vintage was in the Great Southern" (Ray Jordan). The wine was sourced from the estate's vineyards at Forest Hill, Mount Barker East and the northern Frankland River. Pressed to Burgundian oak ranging in size from 225L to 600L with less than 10% new. 10 months maturation before final blending and bottling. Dark fruit aromas and flavours pour forth here: plums and blackberries, with vanilla, liquorice, aniseed and spice. Medium-bodied but dense with firm tannins.
