Utopian Block is from a family estate, whose winemaking began in Italy 130 years ago. Four generations later their story has moved across continents and now plays out in Maule’s Loncomilla Valley. Blessed by their natural surroundings, this family-run winery produces wines with impressive character. And regular high scores too. This fine red is sourced from a special single vineyard, with a portion from the family's top reserve Malbec to add even more finesse. A year in French oak barrels has lent a subtle layer of spice to the silky plum and cherry fruit, with its lift of violets. A great choice with steak.
