Hither & Yon is a small, family-owned McLaren Vale outfit, headed up by the ‘Brothers Leask’ – Richard & Malcolm. The focus is on small, small single-vineyard parcels, ‘scattered high & low across McLaren Vale’s diverse majesty’. The result? “Good stuff. It’s crisp and perky, almost Italianate. Raspberry rope, strawberry, dried herb perfume. Almost a ‘volcanic rock’ kind of thing going on” (Gary Walsh).

“60% grenache 40% mataro. Echoes of the Old World here although its origins are much in evidence ... the aromas and flavours are both savoury and sweet-fruited with raspberry, chocolate, and mulchy notes in the mix. Well integrated tannin and acid keeps things fresh and in order ... 92 points” (Halliday).
