Richard Hamilton Almond Grove McLaren Vale Chardonnay 2022

Almond trees were once widely planted in McLaren Vale, including on the land where the Richard Hamilton Almond Grove Chardonnay is now grown. The fresh 2022 vintage has a beautiful bouquet of freshly cut nectarine with a subtle influence of French oak. It's a medium-bodied Chardonnay bursting with stone fruit and enhanced by a spiced creaminess thanks to a combination of new French oak and ample maturation on less. The wine finishes dry with a clean, bright, soft acidity. An excellent companion for poultry, seafood or pasta.
