The Wine
100% Barossa Shiraz in this Reserve crafted by former Penfolds winemaker and twice winner of the Jimmy Watson, Mike Farmilo. A heady concoction, deep purple in colour with the aromas and flavours of plum, spice and dark chocolate.
"From four vineyards, separately vinified and matured for 18 months before blending. A Star Wars hero, its intensity and length brooking no argument. Blackberry, dark chocolate and French oak follow the style of previous vintages, '17 giving added presence... 96pts" (Halliday).
