This fabulous showcase boasts a ‘secret’ Gran Reserva Rioja with 10 years’ age made with pure old vine Tempranillo in a 5-star vintage, and from a leading family estate. Garnacha and Tempranillo combine in a 6-year-old long-time favourite from Cariñena made by Javier Domeque, and Central Spain’s Valdepeñas is home to a 2019 Gran Reserva – pure high-altitude Tempranillo from the 5th generation Castro family. Campo de Borja, with its wealth of old bush vines is home to a trio of superb reds. These include BACCO, a mighty 7-year-old Garnacha of depth, complexity and 6 Golds, and La Bella, a Garnacha, Syrah Tempranillo combo with 8 Golds.
