Kilikanoon Baudinet Blend Clare Valley Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2017

Lavish Rhône style blend from Kilikanoon, a seamless blend of three of the most noble grape varieties from the old world; the majority Grenache providing the vibrancy and perfume, the Shiraz the texture and robustness and the Mataro, the savoury edge, charcuterie and palate persistence. Medium bodied with fine tannins and natural acidity complete the statement. On the nose, hints of roasted meats, dark cherries and black olives are seductively enhanced by the spicy, seasoned French oak notes.
