The Wine
A delicious Yarra rarity from “arguably the most successful of all Yarra Valley wineries, not only in terms of the sheer volume... but also the quality of its wines. It is run by husband and wife Leanne DeBortoli and Steve Webber, but owned by the De Bortoli family” (Halliday).
“Hand-picked, fermentation and maturation in used French oak casks for 5 months. Often compared to Chardonnay, but this variety has more in common with Fiano with its warm textural support. No matter the similarities, the grape is here to stay and definitely of the moment with its approachable citrus, cut pear, spice and pretty florals... 94pts. Great Value.” (Halliday).
