The Wine
McLaren Vale Shiraz is notoriously rich and chocolatey. It appears this one is even MORE intense than others! "There's enough power and intensity here to be shared by two bottles. The deep crimson-purple hue is one marker, but it's the full-bodied palate that brings dark chocolate, licorice and black cherry into play. Great value for cellaring a few bottles for 5+ years or so...92pts" (Halliday).
