The Wine
The rich, red brown clay of Marananga, centred in the North West quadrant of the Barossa, has produced a wine rich in unique character; jam, fruitcake, cardamom, blueberry fruits, cocoa powder with an undercurrent of roasted meats and crackling. Small open fermenters and a basket press have been employed to gently extract this wine, which was subsequently aged in the finest quality oak for 18 months.
