The Wine
It's made entirely from premium estate grown grapes in Friuli, Italy's top white wine region. To guarantee quality, the Zonin family keep every aspect of production in house. The winemaker is Marco Rabino, who is also the talent behind the hugely popular Ca' Bolani Prosecco. Amazingly, wine has been made at this exceptional estate for 1500 years! The first vineyard was planted by Roman settlers in AD 572. They took the wines back to Rome and made the area around the town of Aquileia in Friuli famous for quality white wine. We suggest you serve this wine gently chilled, with white fish, chicken, salads or fresh pasta in a creamy sauce (think alfredo, carbonara).
