The talented Tim Cox from Allegiance Wines brings us this Reserve bottling from a 20-year-old block in the prestigious Vine Vale sub-region. It’s a stunning red, rich and decadent, with SIX Gold, a Great Gold, and an array of high points including 92 points from Halliday: “Lovely ripe fruit and fine willowy tannins …” and 93 points from The Real Review: “Satsuma plum, boysenberry, spice….” If you love the decadence and richness of the Shiraz that the Barossa does so well, this is well worth the investment.
