Aged Reds of Spain Super Six
Aged between 8 and 11 years this trio of gloriously mature stars of Spain is an absolute treat and astonishing value at $18.99 a bottle.
First, something really special – a Rioja Gran Reserva from the 5-star 2015 vintage and a leading family estate. It’s a secret ‘deal’, meaning we can offer this wine with stunning credentials under a special label that preserves the anonymity of the estate who wouldn’t usually offer their premium wine at such a low price.
Next, an opulent Gold-winning Gran Reserva Tempranillo from high altitude vines at an estate in the heart of Valdepeñas, central Spain, where five generations of the Castro family have been using traditional techniques to craft outstanding wines. This is aged 18 months in fine French and American oak, and now 9 years old.
Lastly, enjoy the incredible 6x Gold-winning BACCA Garnacha. Garnacha (aka Grenache) is so well adapted to local conditions that Campo de Borja is known as “The Empire of Garnacha” and can claim to be the original home of the renowned grape. The wine is loaded with complex layers and depth of flavour and the Golds have just flown in!
Save $74 for two bottles of each at $18.99 a bottle. Bring on the roast leg of lamb or fill the table with a tapas spread.
