Wine Summary
Super generous, fuller-bodied red from Great Southern’s Frankland River. Gentle aromas of blackberries and blueberries (characteristic of Malbec), wafting with sweet spices, dark chocolate, liquorice, blackberry pie and vanilla. Bags of ripe fruits fill the mouth before savoury characters of cacao and liquorice add complexity. It's a seriously dark, intriguing Malbec that's won two Golds and garnered good reviews from critics too."... attractive with excellent weight and concentration, leading to a wonderfully long flavoursome finish... 93pts" (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit). Stuart Knox from The Real Review calls it "A big boy with lashings of black fruit, savoury meatiness and bound with grainy tannins. Good length and drive. Would be best with some serious protein."
