Twenty Third Street Distillery Riverland Rose Vodka NV

The distillery’s fancifully paint a picture of twenty three thousand rose petals plucked under moonlight, trod by centaurs’ hooves and strained through unicorn tail hair… Actually, this is a seductively pretty and high quality vodka – winner of a Best Australian Vodka Trophy, in fact – from a Riverland distillery based in what once was The Renmark Growers’ Distillery Company Limited – which local growers had developed out of the distillery originally set up by Chateau Tanunda in 1914. Either way it’s quite a story – and quite a vodka. Rose petal infused, with a touch of hibiscus, a rounded mouthfeel and warm finish.
