Its history is littered with colourful characters, none more so than the region’s namesake, Alfred Langhorne, who earned the nickname 'The Liar’ for his extreme economy with the truth. Though he couldn't be trusted in business, he definitely had an eye for top-notch grape-growing areas. This rich, smooth beauty is honest proof – and it has just won a Double Gold medal in France to prove it!
