Western Australia’s Margaret River region is home to many of our country’s finest wines. In a truly breathtaking, isolated corner, wines are crafted in a boutique winery that is – literally – Miles From Nowhere. WA legends, Franklin and Heather Tate are the masterminds behind the winery; Director of Winemaking Frederique Perrin (ex Cape Mentelle) the woman behind the very fine wines. Together they’ve turned out an irresistibly mouthwatering Riesling. High-toned and zesty, with elegant Riesling florals, the palate is crisp, tangy and precise, with a lovely mineral zing. It’s a delicious match to a platter of fresh, briny oysters.
