Their Watervale Riesling is handcrafted from fruit grown at elevation, where rich red loam overlays deep limestone. </p> <p> <i> “From the estate Smyth and St Clare Vineyards, 90% free-run juice. The flowery bouquet is attractive, but doesn't prepare you for the intensity of the palate, and in particular the rocky acidity on the lingering finish. All the Watervale riesling flavours are present and correct, all in the citrus spectrum ... 92 points” </i> (Halliday). </p>
