Wine Summary
d'Arenberg's The Dead Arm is true powerful, concentrated, age-worthy iconic Shiraz from McLaren Vale."Deep, dark, concentrated red/purple colour. The bouquet is tarry, meaty, powerful and ironstone-earthy, preserved plum, too. The palate is gutsy and full-bodied, rich and dense, with thick mouth-coating tannins, concentrated flavour and long persistence. The astringency is supported by generous flavour and the wine has long-term potential. Right now, it needs either a hearty steak meal or putting away in the cellar. A real thumper" (Huon Hooke, The Real Review). "Bravo! Forceful…" adds Ned Goodwin MW in the Halliday Wine Companion.

Wine Summary
We first met Dino when he began restoring his grandfather's earthquake-struck vineyard, high in the Sicilian hills. You loved the wine it made - Tenuta Fenice. Not one to rest on his laurels, he's started another ambitious new project called w/o - wine made without compromise. He chose native Frappato as his champion, all grown organically thanks to Sicily's warm, dry climate and Dino's diligence. It's bottled in 100% recycled glass too, known as 'wild' glass. You may notice a little variation in colour, perhaps a few tiny bubbles. All part of the charm, as is the delicious red berry and cherry fruit that greets you on the aroma and continues through on the bright, juicy palate. Try chilled solo, or with pizza or pesto pasta.

Wine Summary
For this exquisite 96pt Gold-medal Chardonnay, the winemakers at Bleasdale have looked to carefully cultivated vineyards in Woodside and Echunga, part of the idyllic Adelaide Hills. The Chardonnay fruit was handpicked directly into a refrigerated container, chilled all day and during transport. The fruit was then delivered to the historic Bleasdale cellars at dusk for whole bunch pressing in the cool of the evening. All this culminates in attractive stone fruit and citrus aromas and flavours with complexity from maturation on fermentation lees. The palate is fine and long with persistent flavour supported by oak structure and length. "All the inputs have been precisely managed... 96pts. Great Value" (James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion).
