Wine Summary
Since it’s very first release, The Black Pig has fast become our No. 1 range for customers across the country. And when it comes to breathtaking Shiraz, their trotters rarely stray far from McLaren Vale. The original black pig that inspired this favourite label was a character-filled piglet called Tanuki. His descendants still roam the paddocks today. This excellent Reserve McLaren Vale Shiraz is sourced from select premium sites in McLaren Vale and crafted with a greater focus on oak maturation. The result is a wine of greater depth and structure. Sumptuous blackberry, cherry and bramble, elevated liquorice, cocoa and pepper, with a harmonious cedar spice edge. Turbo-charged punch and power throughout.

Wine Summary
In a textbook vintage, fruit from the Yacca Paddock Vineyard in Kuitpo (In the south west corner of the Adelaide Hills), has produced a juicy, bright Tempranillo of cherry and red berry aromas, with a blue-fruited palate , Ned Goodwin in The Halliday Wine Companion finds it "impressive" So do we – and others. “Deep, bold purple colour, with a youthfully bright spicy and meaty bouquet that hints at carbonic maceration. The palate is rich and fruit-sweet, succulent and delicious, with fine and smooth tannins and fleshy texture. A succulent wine, drinking well now and for a few years hence” (Huon Hooke, The Real Review).

A deliciously smooth and silky GSM from the great Richard Hamilton estate. Fruit comes from the Hamilton family’s Farm Block, while the individual varieties, Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre were fermented separately and aged in seasoned oak to retain fruit dominance. Subtle use of oak allows the fruit to shine through to reveal attractive hints of boiled fruit cake with cinnamon and cloves this wine will accompany the best pasta, paella, or rich gamey meals – or just enjoy it on its own.

Wine Summary
The fruit utilised in this wine is from an area of Mountadam Vineyards eastern vineyard planted in 2001. The vines are planted at 450 meters above sea level. A brilliant display of blue fruits, spice and cedar characters on the nose. The palate tells much the same story, with blueberry and dense blackberry flavours and an underlying licorice root character. It's an elegant Shiraz showcasing an underlying spiciness and supple long tannins. "A beautiful expression… impressively composed" (Tyson Stelzer, Halliday Wine Companion).

Wine Summary
5 Red Star Angove is one of Australia's oldest family owned wineries, founded in 1886. They have access to some of the finest fruit in the best reds regions of South Australia. The Angove Bin 4288 Cabernet Sauvignon is exclusively and carefully crafted from grapes grown in the Coonawarra for our customers. The fruit from the 2020 vintage was fantastic – small berries, great fruit concentration and lovely tannins. Warm days and cool nights provided the perfect ripening conditions for Coonawarra’s signature variety, Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon arriving at Angove's 110-year-old winery, the Cabernet grapes were gently destemmed and placed in small open fermenters. Regionally distinctive blackcurrant, spearmint and eucalypt aromas are followed by a full palate with brooding blackberry fruit and supple, mouth-filling structure. For an added layer of fruit complexity, mocha richness and overall elegance, the winemakers blended in a tiny portion (7%) of McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon.

Wine Summary
A lavishly rich and grand Gold-medal 93pt Barossa Shiraz from ‘the birthplace of the Barossa' as Château Tanunda has been called. It was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the Valley’s first vines planted as well as its first winery. After falling into decline, John Geber, who has owned it since 1998, has restored both the impressive winery building and the estate’s reputation. It truly is grand. And so are its wines – taste this inky black and intense Shiraz beauty and see. Lifted aromas of blackberry, plum, olive and black pepper are accompanied by spicy, dark berry fruits on the palate. The finish is long and silky with fine tannins. 18 months maturation in a combination of French and American oak barrels. The tannins are slowly softening thanks to time in bottle. Gold at Berliner Wine Trophy and 93pts from Wine Orbit!
