And when it comes to breathtaking Shiraz, their trotters rarely stray far from McLaren Vale. The original black pig that inspired this favourite label was a character-filled piglet called Tanuki. His descendants still roam the paddocks today. This excellent Reserve McLaren Vale Shiraz is sourced from select premium sites in McLaren Vale and crafted with a greater focus on oak maturation. The result is a wine of greater depth and structure. Sumptuous blackberry, cherry and bramble, elevated liquorice, cocoa and pepper, with a harmonious cedar spice edge. Turbo-charged punch and power throughout.
