Wine Summary
Kerrigan + Berry is a collaboration between two Western Australia winemakers; Gavin Berry of West Cape Howe in the Great Southern and Michael Kerrigan of Hay Shed Hill in Margaret River. When it comes to their Gold-medal 95pt Riesling, the initial impression on the palate is that of seamless structure, fine vibrant acids and lingering citrus flavours. There is a complex array of flavours in the mouth, dominated by lemons, limes and grapefruit. These are supported by hints of spice and mineral on the mid-palate and green apple on the impressively long finish. For those who like to cellar their Riesling, give it ten years before the fine steely structure transforms into the toasty, rich, complex wine that is an aged Riesling. " juicy with electrifying acidity... 95pts. Value Star" (Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion).
