The original black pig was named Tanuki. He was a cheeky little pork chop. So loved was he by his winemaking owner, it was only right we honoured this special pig with a wine of his own. Produced from hand-selected fruit from top McLaren Vale vineyards, The Black Pig Shiraz leaps from the glass with sumptuous, rich and ripe blackcurrant tones and vanilla snippets. Oozing lashings of cedar, ripe berries and hints of chocolate this stunning Gold-winning Shiraz is the kind of wine that can drink now with ease, or be laid down for another 8 or so years. High points galore and Gold. Knappstein is a famous name in the Clare Valley, and the estate has some wonderful mature vineyards to draw upon for its impressive wines. The zesty, lime juice Rieslings are a particular specialty of Knappstein, as you would expect of a winery from this world famous Riesling region! Made with estate vineyards from vines between 10 and 30 years old, it's a scintillating and zingy treat. A difficult vintage for Tumbarumba - except, that is, for Pinot Grigio. Lovel natural acidity helps keep this really mouthwatering, yet still with lovely fruit flavours of pear, apple and ripe. citrus. Quality is well illustrated by a Trophy, multiple Golds and high point scores. Sam Kim in Wine Orbit describes it well: " Elegantly composed and expressed, the bouquet shows ripe pear, green rockmelon, Gala apple and white floral aromas, leading to a finely flowing palate that’s juicy and bright. Beautifully balanced by refreshing acidity, making it immediately appealing."

Hurry to taste this deliciously dark customer favourite from Greg Follett’s lovely Lake Breeze estate, named Australia’s Champion Small Winery, Champion Wine four times, and well over 25 trophies and 125 Golds. Traditional open fermentation was employed followed by maturation in French oak barriques for 20 months, prior to bottling. The wine displays a lifted aromatics of black fruits and violets, along with some cedary oak nuances. The concentrated palate showcases chocolate and cassis flavours wrapped in grippy tannins, all leading to a wonderfully long finish.

This cracking drop is the second ever release of this brilliant white and blends together a delicious array of varieties… vibrant and toasty South Australian Chardonnay, aromatic Viognier, grassy Sauvignon, and a touch of tropical fruit-rich Verdelho… to make a truly lipsmacking delight. Last year's vintage won Gold at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge, with the wine judges writing, "Light golden yellow colour. Pleasant nose combining white fruit, hints of apricot, toast and aromatic herbs. The palate is well-defined, fleshy, rich and invigorating, opening with lime and exuberant, persistent aromas. No shortage of character." More importantly, it's a winner with fish and chips.

Bill Taylor, grandfather of the current custodian, Mitchell, first set foot on the estate on the same day that Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon, in 1969. Three generations later, Taylors has a worldwide reputation for excellence. In fact, Taylors has been rated the ‘No. 1 Winery in the World’, out of over 50,000 producers, by the prestigious World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists. The palate of this 2023 is lavish, with balanced, luscious fruit, spice and oak, with Clare’s trademark blueberry flavours.

Sam Trimboli's 2022 vintage Trebbiano has hit the heights again! This time winning a Gold, Top Gold and a Trophy at the Riverina Wine Show, plus another Trophy and Gold at the Australian Inland Wine Show. Thanks to New South Wales’ hot, dry growing season, the grapes achieved serious ripeness and flavour concentration. As a finishing touch, Sam treated the wine to four months in French oak barrels. You, too, will be impressed by the wine’s ripe citrus-fruit flavours, plus the creamy/nutty nuance imparted by the oak aging. Enjoy a refreshing glass on its own or serve with Italian-inspired cuisine (like white pizza or alfredo-sauced pastas) or fresh seafood dishes.

The Limestone Coast region encompasses some of Australia's most revered viticultural land and, without fail, produces reds with both voluptuous fruit and great structure. The 2022 harvest was characterised by its low cropping levels, which resulted in wines of immense power and concentration. The Ravensthorpe Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon brings together flavours of cassis, blackberry and a hint of the region's eucalypts with well-integrated toasty oak characters. A great wine to share with a hearty meal, and with careful cellaring it will continue to improve over the next 4-6 years.

Established in 1972, Mountadam High Eden Estate is one of Australia’s oldest cool climate Chardonnay vineyards. Situated on a unique rocky outcrop the estate commands an easterly aspect 500-550m high over Eden Valley. On release the wine is pale straw in colour. It displays classic Chardonnay characters of peach, nectarine and fresh figs. French oak barrel fermentation and maturation gives the wine secondary aromas of cashew nuts and mixed spices. The palate has a complex mix of peach, citrus, cashew nuts, subtle truffle and spice characters throughout.

The crisp, fruit-filled Split Rock has been a bestselling Sauvignon for two decades. And it all started with love! In the 1970s Hermann Seifried, then a fresh-faced Austrian wine nut seeking adventure, travelled to New Zealand. It was a final stop-off on a world tour, mainly to see where the All Blacks came from. There he fell in love with a local primary school teacher, Agnes, and has never left. In 1973 the couple realised their shared dream – to plant a vineyard – and have since racked up a host of awards. Today their three children, Chris, Heidi and Anna, help run the property in Nelson – a region with over 2,400 hours of sunshine, it's the sunniest in New Zealand. It's made by Australia’s hottest winemaker, John Quarisa (or Johnny Q as he’s known).
