Wine Summary
Powerful yet refined tannins provide an excellent frame to this stunning old-vine Shiraz. Generous fruit on nose, with waves of blackberry and mulberry aromas, along with chocolate, liquorice, vanilla and almonds. An iron fist in a velvet glove, with plenty of power on the palate, wrapped in a plushness that tames and tempts all the way to a long, seamless and engaging finish. Awarded a Grand Gold at the Berlin International Wine Competition in 2021. 96 points from Master of Wine, Andrew Caillard. Bring on grass-fed porterhouse in red wine jus, Paris mash and roasted broccolini.
