Rob Mack was voted Young Gun of Wine in 2018 and his Aphelion, which won Best Small Producer at the McLaren Vale Wine Show in 2019, now proudly sports a Halliday estate rating of Five Red Stars. He also "scaled the heights of direct marketing as wine buyer and planner" (Halliday) working with us. Emergent is a straight Mataro (aka Mourvedre in France, and Monastrell in Spain), and it's not very often vinified on its own. It boasts a wealth of complex savoury and spice tones as well as red fruite and dark plum flavours and it's a wine that invites conversation. Pour a glass, sit comfortably, sip and explore. Delicious.
