Wine Summary
A luscious and velvety red that commemorates the arrival in Clare of Jesuit settlers, who planted vines and established the area as a formidable wine-producing region. They settled in the region in 1848, and planted 100 acres of vines in order to make their sacramental wines. In doing so, they helped put Clare on the winemaking map, and created a tradition of fine Jesuit winemaking that survives in the Clare Valley to this day. You can look forward to lush, dark fruit aromas of black fruits and spice with delicious wild herbs, fine soft tannins and creamy, toasty oak. It absolutely sings with flavour.
