We’re proud to unveil a new pure Durif. In true Sam Triboli style, it's already won Gold. Sam is a Durif devotee (even his car licence plate reads DURIF!) which is why he often puts the grape in the ‘spotlight’.
This is an unashamedly weighty, full flavoured red with masses of lush black fruit, spice, liquorice and herbal hints and a toasty oak finish – all in a distinctively shaped bottle.
Like the bull, the Adaptaur Reserve Durif is a great example of careful selection, hailing from selected vineyards in South Australia. The result is a wine that has intensity, decadent with rich flavours of plum and spicy black fruit.
Like the gorilla on the label, the Durif grape is equal parts big, dark and powerful. But don't be fooled, in the right hands, it can show a feminine side as well, especailly when blended to such great effect.
