Wine Summary
This wine comes from a single Shiraz vineyard in the Langhorne Creek region and is a great expression of the grape from this part of the world. This wine was fermented as more than 10 individual parcels, 30% of this wine has spent 2 months in large format, aged oak vats with a combination of newer Hungarian and American oak being used. The result is a rich and generous wine, with the structure to be able to mature but with current complexity to make you want to drink now. Partly dark fruit and serious power, partly spicy oak and a long, classy finish. Lots to enjoy here - cooked plum , black cherry and clove lead the way, with some grit, velvet and olive backing things up.
