Wine Summary
Alessandro Gallici, the maestro behind both our white and rosé Visionario wines, is now winning over fans with this ripe, lively red. It is his take on the classic Ripasso style of Valpolicella and so really rich and weighty with bright cherry fruit. First the wine is made from star local varieties Valpolicella's Corvina, Corvinone and Molinara, then it is put into contact with the dried grape skins of recently made Amarone wine to bring even better structure and more richness of flavour. Three months in barrel have further enhanced Visionario Rosso's satisfying character. A treat with grilled meats or spicy tomato pasta.
