We have stayed firm friends with this great bodega and seen it win many top awards. It has also been ranked among the Top 50 Wineries in the World nine times in succession. This long friendship affords us some special favours, which includes a parcel of this great Rioja 2013. Nearly all Tempranillo, aged over two years in oak barrels (like a Gran Reserva), this is a delicious, complex and beautifully balanced red. Open early and serve with roast lamb, game or stuffed Portobello mushrooms.
