This lavisly rich and intense McLaren Vale Shiraz is made in honour of the hardworking 'Barrel Monkeys' – a nickname for the cellar hands who literally push the barrels around. Many winemakers start their life doing this. It's a plush, lush, rich and spicy red with a textured, velvety palate of blackberry, plums and spicy vanillin French oak topped off by a creamy chocolate richness that’s hard to resist!
