Phil and Sue Child founded Margaret River’s Knee Deep estate in Wilyabrup in 2000.The name was a tongue-in- cheek acknowledgement of jumping in ‘boots and all’ during a testing time in the wine industry with the grape glut of the late nineties. These days, the estate is run by Matt & Clair Holden who are as equally immersed in the venture of making very fine wines - like this one here. “This offers exceptional composure between red and blackcurrant sweetness, a swathe of bouquet garni herb and gently appointed vanillin cedar oak.
