Wine Summary
A complex wine of creaminess and flesh, with grassy Sauvignon fruit cutting through, showing also hints of varietal passionfruit. Food friendly, textural and multi-dimensional, a ‘Savvy for grown ups’. Brackenwood is owned by Damon Nagel, who started life as a sommelier in Adelaide before moving to London in his mid-twenties, where he worked in several of London’s top restaurants. After a number of successful years he moved back to Australia, where he purchased a stunning property in the Adelaide Hills. Here he set about establishing the Brackenwood name.
