Situated at the base of Victoria’s Mt Buller, Delatite has been making fine cool climate wines for over 50 years. <i> “With its sweeping views across to the snow-clad Alps, this is uncompromising cool climate viticulture ... many of the plantings are well over 30 years old ... the white wines are as good as ever; all are wild-yeast fermented” </i> (Halliday). The Pinot Gris is biodynamically farmed, whole bunch pressed and wild fermented. It shows luscious pears, tropical fruits and floral notes on a full, rounded, complex and crisp finish.
